Another jet lag fuelled early morning start woke us up ready to enjoy our last full day in Vancouver. Luckily the sun wanted to come out to play and it streamed through the trees into the back of the house.
With our friends acting as our personal tour guides we loaded up the car and set off for a tour of downtown Vancouver.
We woke stupidly early that morning from the jet lag after landing the previous day and especially with me still being on Croatia time. The house was quiet and not even our friend's baby was stirring. I crept out to the lounge to look out over the emerging dawn, slipping like a quiet mist through the trees. A pot of fresh coffee later and the house was waking.
Less than 24 hours after touching down from Croatia and a quick turnaround and case swap at home, I set off to the airport again for a two week trip of a lifetime around Canada.
