All the festive feels at Chatsworth House: the sequel

I wrote before Christmas about a previous visit to Chatsworth House when the theme was The Lion, Witch and Wardrobe and showed you the utter magic that they create. It gives me all the festive feels going there at Christmas time and I just love looking at the decorations, not to mention the stunning house in its own right.

Just before Xmas last year, I was lucky enough to get to go again to see the newest offering...Wind in the Willows. It is one of the classics and so I was excited to see how they'd bring my favourite characters to life.
The story of badger...
 Toad of Toad Hall...
Weasel and Mr Ratty were told beautifully.
The lights gleamed and the green boughs hung low...

The journey through the enchanted dark forest felt spooky and dark...
Until you rounded a corner and there was another beautifully decorated Christmas tree...

The stockings of Toad, Ratty and Badger hung by a cosy fire...

That naughty Mr Toad managed to get everywhere...

 What a daredevil he is...

Mr Toad decided to take up wagon racing. Wouldn't you just love this in your garden as a cosy little reading nook?

There was carnage in the dining room with weasels everywhere!
But Toad always knows how to throw a good bash in the end...
Those close to me know me affectionately as Toad of Toad Hall owing to my enthusiastic driving style in my little open top motor car so this picture just had to be taken!
There's even a farmyard so you can get your miniature pony fix and see some little piglets. Adorable.
Another fantastic year at Chatsworth. I'll be back again to see what the magic holds next year.
