I've noticed a growing fascination ages 6-8 with all things mini, particularly things that their friends will coo over and they can show off by clipping to their bags. So when I happened across this amazing miniature camera which is a tiny 1 inch screen and weighing just 20g, but packing a huge 64 mega pixel punch, I knew it would be a fantastic present.
At 14.99 it doesn't break the bank either and I think it would make a really cool and unique gift for their friends, which would be the envy of the class at school.
I don't know about you but getting my children to drink enough water at school is a constant headache- literally - (hello dehydration) so making sure it is in a cool bottle is a major point winner and even better if it stays cold all day, Who wants lukewarm water! We love the Stanley quencher trend as much as the next person but they are not leak proof or practical for the school bag. Soaking their PE kit is not the one!
So when I saw these B Box insulated bottles with leak proof spout and a huge 1.5 litre capacity, I was hooked. I love the colour range they come in and they are sure to be the next viral sensation in the water world (not the Kevin Costner variety, if you're old enough to remember that).
My kids love these and they look great in their cup holder to boot and it makes my day as I know they have plenty of cold water for the day.
Any gift that encourages creativity and is fun is always a winner, but we have craft kits coming out of ears (and cupboards) that sadly we never seem to have time for. But the Photo Creator printer is a gift which keeps giving. Not only does it encourage my little loves to join me in my hobby of taking photos - it also gives them full creative license to personalise them, which is where it's at with kids, amma right?!
Through a smart phone or tablet and an app - they can explore the world and print their photos out once they get home to make their very own colourful scrap books. My two had the most fun doing this after days out to the beach and zoo - even making their own photo journals for school. Hello bonus homework points! This gets our full approval as a fab gift for those difficult to buy years.
So if you're struggling for what to buy your 6-10's, then hopefully this has hopefully sparked your imagination. Hit me up in the comments with your thoughts on these new viral sensations.
