Creating the perfect Modern country house

As we are about to embark on a home renovation to create more space for our growing family, I've been stalking Pinterest for inspiration about the kind of look we want to achieve. This home jumped off the iPad and captured my imagination due to its modern country style, which is a combination of scandi airiness, English country elements and even some French country furniture.

I like how light the dining space feels with a nice big dining table for all of the family to come together for Sunday lunch....
The kitchen is a modern country dream, with a shaker units, lots of light and a nice island to gather round for tea and cakes....
The calming paint and light coloured furniture give it a paired back, restrained look that helps each room flow into another...
The living room with log burner offers a comfy space to retire at the end of the day, once the baby is in bed. A luxurious but comfortable adult space to read a good book in.
They have the odd piece of quirky or colourful furniture, just to break up the lighter spaces....
This french country inspired bed and light walls looks like a comfy space to rest your head at the end of the night...
Be still my heart. The perfect modern country bathroom with slipper bath and paneled walls. I could happily soak away an evening with a glass of wine in here....any tips on keeping it toy free?

There are many things I like about this house and am inspired by but I'm still on the look out for the one that is just right.
