How to get started with wedding planning

Anyone that's planned a wedding will know the utter rollercoaster of emotions you feel and the crazy time warp you enter as you get embroiled in all of the wedmin that goes with it.

Champagne and a Flutter at Beverley Racecourse

There are few occasions that can provide some of my favourite things all in one go, like spending time in the countryside, surrounded by horses and sipping champagne. Plus that little rush of adrenaline you get when you take a risk.

The Best Night Markets: Goa, India

I’m not sure shopping is a reason to travel anywhere but it certainly adds to a place when you’re a homewares fan like I am. I was curious about what to expect in India but knew that there would be bright colours and patterns galore, so I couldn’t wait.

Pizza and giggles in the City of Culture

There are just some days, weeks or times in your life when you lose sight of what is important. With deadlines, commitments or other pressures, you can find that life just gets a little too serious.

I’m a big kid at heart and believe laughter is the best medicine for most things but opportunities to play seem to become fewer and farther between the older you get. When you eventually do see your friends for some girlie time or have a good night out with your other half, it’s like a pressure valve has been opened and you realise how much you needed the release.

With that in mind, one night after work I met up with my man and went in search of fun and an opportunity to switch off and be entertained in Hull, the City of Culture 2017.

The best place for afternoon and Spa in Harrogate

Family and friends mean the world to me and I love nothing more than spending time with them.

I’m lucky enough to see my mum regularly but it’s not the same as having quality time together. It’s so lovely to chat, catch up on each other’s lives and share family jokes. The older I get, the more I appreciate the time we spend together, especially when we have a full day with no distractions.

Country pursuits & Clay Shooting in Beverley

I love the country life. My heart lifts when I’m surrounded by nature, birds, bees and trees. Seeing the new born lambs in the fields frolicking and playing never fails to put a smile on my face. Although I love the excitement of big cities and exploring new places, when I’m at home I like to get in my scruffs and stomp around muddy fields in my wellies.
